This rod is ideal for throwing lures or bait in the 1-3 oz. range and gets a lot of line out in the process. Its 36/64 split design (4′ butt section and 7′ tip section) puts the ferrule closer to the butt for added strength and durability. The rod is built with corrosion-proof stainless steel guides with wear-resistant rings, AA grade cork grips and a heavy duty but light weight aluminum saltwater reel seat.
